COMMENT 16: IRELAND

Ireland is a very green and beautiful island, it’s situated in northwest Europe. Its capital is Dublin. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland(the island of Ireland is divided). At the begiming of the 20th century Ireland was a part of Britain, which was governed from London, but many Irish wanted be free and 1921 when the war of independece ends the south of Ireland became indepedent.
The people of the southof Ireland were mainly catholic and the people who lived in the north were mainly protestants and wanted to be part of Britain. So Northern Ireland is in the United Kingdom. The national sport of Ireland is Gaelic football.

Dublin is a beautiful city with building like a castle, art galeries, a famous theatr… In the north of Ireland isgiant’s Caureway, it was formed for a volcano. There are over 40,000 rocks colums. It’s the most popular tourist attraction. The Blarney Stone is in the medieval castle of Blarney.

I hope when I’m older and earn my own money, I go to visit Ireland to see it and also to improve my english.

  COMMENT 3: POLLUTION Pollution consists of harmful substances to people. They are in air, soil and water. It is harmful because we all need clean air to live, if we breathe polluted air we can get sick, not only people but also plants and animals. An element that pollutes a lot is the smoke expelled by all the cars in the cities, especially trucks and buses. Very old vehicles should also be removed from circulation because they pollute and smell badly  and cause people to cough. Water in rivers is full of rubbish that people throw, chemical substances from factories and can no longer be used for drinking or cooking. What should we do to avoid this? -We must control the smoke released by factories and automobiles. -Use the bike more often and walk as much as possible. -We must be more ecological -We must prevent harmful substances from entering the rivers and seas. Pollution is leading to global warming and new diseases. I think that contamination, if it is not solved, could at least
